I wanted to share some general advice that I think people should know.
Tons of people overpay for their internet. Most ISP's (Internet Service Providers) push you to have plans that are higher than 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps/Mega bits per second, think of it like MPH in a car. Higher numbers are better). There are two ways of measuring internet speed and ISPs usually flaunt the larger data download, or down speed first, versus the data upload speed, or up speed. Examples of up and down speed are like when you look at content online, you are downloading data, this is the bulk of what internet users need. If you create content of your own or send a file or email and post it/upload it on the web, that takes "up" speed.
This is also why the ISP you choose matters a lot. For example: Fiber internet is always the best, it usually has great reliability, and the Up and Down speeds are almost the exactly the same, like 1000 Mbps down/1000 Mbps up. Technologies like cable have fast down speeds but slower upload speeds like 1000 Mbps down/60-150 Mbps up. Wi-Fi internet plans, or "5G" plans have much lower speeds overall, like 100-400 Mbps down/15-60 Mbps up. Satellite plans are usually 25-100 Mbps down/10-25 Mbps up. As you can see; not all internet plans are the same.
The average household can have a mid-level plan of 300-500 Mbps and still have plenty of bandwidth and no slowdowns. It's all dependent on the number of people using it at once and their specific needs and usage but think about the items in your house that actually access the internet and the maximum speed they need. Did you know 4K UHD Streaming with all the bells and whistles only takes about 25 Mbps? Subtract that from your overall plan download speed, and you still have bandwidth left over for numerous devices.
If your internet Gateway/Modem/Router is more than 3 years old, you should update and replace it. Usually your ISP (Internet Service Provider) will allow you to do this for free. Although some ISP's will only do it every 5 years.
People always ask me what my favorite movie is, and it is an impossible question. It's right up there with what's your favorite song. It always seems to change. However, the closest film I have ever seen to movie perfection is "Raiders of the Lost Ark". It has a little bit of everything. Action, Drama, Comedy, Romance, Horror. You name it!

Hardwired networks are always the best option when available. They are more stable, have more speed and have much better security than Wi-Fi. The best Ethernet/ Network Cable I can recommend is Cat 6a (Note the "a". Regular Cat 6 is good also but isn't as durable and has less shielding). It is more than enough for general needs. It is more affordable and much more reliable than the newest Cat 7 & 8, which are only necessary for huge businesses and server farms. A Cat 6a cable is capable of streaming data at 10 Gbps!! No one I know has an internet plan anywhere near that.
A few of my quirkier, "off the radar" movies I will occasionally recommend, that I personally enjoyed are "Dogfight" (1991) starring River Phoenix, "Mumford" (1999) kind of an oddball romance by Lawrence Kasdan, "Almost Famous" (2000) by Cameron Crowe (loosely based on his life experiences), "Green Room" (2015) a Thriller/Horror? starring Anton Yelchin, "Gattaca" (1997), "Palm Springs" (2020) odd one with time travel, and "Vengeance" (2022) by BJ Novak.

Some of my "mainstream" movie favorites are: "The Empire Strikes Back" and almost anything else Star Wars, "The Lord of the Rings Trilogy" (2001 - 2003), "Saving Private Ryan" (1998), "Contact" (1997), "About Time" (2013) and "When Harry Met Sally" (1989) are two of my favorite romantic movies, "Forrest Gump" (1994), "Game Night" (2018), "John Wick" (2014), "The Matrix" (1999), "The Fifth Element" (1997), "A Quiet Place" (2018), "Captain America: The Wintersoldier" (2014) and a lot of the other really good Marvel movies. There's so many more too!
